Today I am posting (albeit a bit late) my New Year Eve’s makeup, which was simple yet something, which I was scared to carry all my life. The look that I sported was a thick winged liner with red lips.
MAC Studio Sculpt foundation in NC35
Lancome Magic Voyage Pallete (used the dark brown shadow)
Inglot Lip Refill #82
L’oreal Felt tip Eyeliner
KIKO Powder Blush #103 (Gold Fishing)
Estee Lauder Magnascopic Mascara (not shown here)
MAC Painterly Paint Pot (not shown)
Shu Umera Lash Curler (not shown)
Step 1: Apply an eyeshadow primer all over the lid. I have used MAC Painterly Paint Pot.
Step 2: Draw the thinnest line possible on your upper lash line and stop at the outer corner of the eye.
Step 3: Flick the line upward from the outercorner, the angle depends on personal choice, here I have tried to create an angle of 45 degrees.
Step 4: Join the tip of the line forming a triangle with the base line on your eye
Step 5: Fill in the triangle and smooth out the transition. Smoothen the line some more till you see a perfect winged liner. As you can see it is essential to keep the line thin initially as you end up thickening it most of the times and it gives you the clarity in forming the perfect wing.
Step 6: Applied a brown shimmery eyeshadow in my crease to increase the depth of my eyes and define my crease area.
Step 7: Curl lashes and apply mascara.
Face: Applied foundation to my face and didn’t use powder as it is winters here. Filled my brows at this juncture giving them a slight arch.
Next applied the blush very lightly only on the apples of the cheek. Finished off the lips by lining and filling them with Inglot Lip Refill #82.
Hope you girls like this look, do let me know your comments below.
